After debuting at No. 1 last week, John Renbourn’s album The Enchanted Garden falls to No. 2 with 302,000, a sales slide of 56%. This album is a scorcher!
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on The Enchanted Garden is The Truth From Above. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. The Plains Of Waterloo has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Enchanted Garden off to a relaxing start. Douce Dame Jolie gives good insight into the truths. A Bold Young Farmer is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Opening track Sidi Brahim shows the best of John Renbourn.
