Bun B. Hear has compared writing for John Zorn’s new album to that on ‘The Big Gundown’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is one of the best Cd’s John Zorn has dropped to date. This disc has all of the essential John Zorn classics. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Peur Sur La Ville makes a person feel astounding. I loved Poverty (Once Upon A Time In America) the first time I heard it. Milano Odea is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This song may be the most meaningful. I was truly moved when I heard Battle Of Algiers. Giu La Testa is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Metamorfosi - This is a very lively song. Such hits like Tre Nel 5000 will leave you hooked. Nice and different song. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Big Gundown off to a relaxing start.
