I am not a real Rock: Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Clouds’ really is amazing. seven years ago, Joni Mitchell briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Chelsea Morning”. While no new Joni Mitchell album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1969 tour in Europe. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Chelsea Morning is perfect. I Don’t Know Where I Stand is a song to enjoy for years to come. That Song About The Midway is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. I like Roses Blue because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. The Gallery is the more seemingly obscure song on Clouds that bear up best to repeated listening. Song I Think I Understand is actually a funny song. Songs To Aging Children Come is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The Fiddle and The Drum is excellent and different song. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
