Ivan Grach has compared writing for Kazuki Tomokawa’s new album to that on ‘Umi Shizuka, Koe wa Yami’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This album has some very good songs like Kanata and Kamisama Ni Nare. This is one of the best Cd’s Kazuki Tomokawa has dropped to date. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Kamisama Ni Nare is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Although Issaigassai Yo Mo Sue Da is very melodic it is far from sad. Satsujin To Aotenjo is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Chinsetsu Tange Sazen - Okay, I just talked about depth. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Umi Shizuka, Koe wa Yami. Album opener Naa Umi is a bright, upbeat ditty. Kazuki Tomokawa offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Kigi Wa Haru is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Kugai Saa is a amazing song and it grows on you.
