Lead single “Como En Vietnam” and “The Raven Speaks” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Keith Jarrett and Gary Burton energies, virtually a rebirth. On Album 1971 album, Keith Jarrett and Gary Burton have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is what good Jazz should be.
I like to sing along with The Raven Speaks, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Grow Your Own is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. When listening to Moonchild In You Quiet Place, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable.
