Staircase - Sundial-Sand (CD 2) carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Keith Jarrett’s new album to that on ‘Staircase - Sundial-Sand (CD 2)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Keith Jarrett’s debut, ‘Staircase - Sundial-Sand (CD 2)’, does not fit easily into one genre. Another great offering from Keith Jarrett.
Part II is a exquisite song and it grows on you. This track is clearly meant to showcase Keith Jarrett’s vocal abilities. Staircase - Sundial-Sand (CD 2) couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Sand Part I. Part II one is one of the better boring ones. Part III is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Staircase - Sundial-Sand (CD 2).
