Now signed to Keith Jarrett’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “The Mourning Of a Star” leads Keith Jarrett’s back-to-school campaign. After seeing Follow The Crooked Path, I had to have a good Keith Jarrett cd. While no new Keith Jarrett album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1971 tour in South America. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Interlude No.3 is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Standing Outside - I just love it. Everything That Lives Laments good vocals. A fantastic track full of wonder. The first time I listened to Trust I was struck by its marvelous sound. Voice and instruments in All I Want complement each other. Keith Jarrett allows each song to breathe and flourish. The Mourning Of A Star - arguably the best track on The Mourning Of a Star album. Interlude No.2 is a amazing sing-along. Sympathy is a bit of a show-tune.
