This album has some very good songs like Breadwinner (alternate take 1) and Breadwinner (alternate take 2). Guitar Forms is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Guitar Forms isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Breadwinner (alternate take 1) and Breadwinner (alternate take 2) is really good.
The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Breadwinner (alternate take 3) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. A great put together song. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Kenny Burrell. Music and lyrics of Downstairs (alternate take 2) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Kenny Burrell emotions are reflected through Downstairs (alternate take 3). The song feels complete. Downstairs (master take) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Excerpt From “Prelude No. 2″ catches attention immediately, Greensleeves on Guitar Forms is solid and easy to listen to. Last Night When We Were Young actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Kenny Burrell’s face. Loie is outstanding work of Kenny Burrell. Lotus Land - For me, this is the best of the album. Moon and Sand is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Terrace Theme (alternate take 1) is one of the coolest songs Kenny Burrell has ever recorded. Terrace Theme (alternate take 2) as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Terrace Theme (alternate take 3) is one of the best records ever. In Terrace Theme (master take) you won’t find any flashy solos.
