Since Kitaro last CD (Asia) on ForeFront Records back in 1984, I have felt a massive void in my life. Kitaro’s debut, ‘Asia’, does not fit easily into one genre. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Kitaro’s album Asia falls to No. 2 with 211,000, a sales slide of 68%. Check it every song is worth the money for the Asia CD!
I came to like Caravansary. Theme Of Silk Road is a song to enjoy for years to come. Cosmic Love presents the excellent mix of instruments on Asia. In Cloud it becomes nowhere more obvious that Kitaro has yet to define own style. Japanese Drums is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. You can find feelings on this piece of art. After about the third Straightaway To Orion listen through, I began to believe this song is Kitaro’s essence. The sound of Dawn In Malaysia is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
