Interlude No.3 - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Everything That Lives Laments is the first taste of the new album. Standing Outside rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. I find myself hearing bits of Sympathy here and there throughout my waking hours. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Mourning Of Star off to a relaxing start. After about the third The Mourning Of A Star listen through, I began to believe this song is K.Jarrett and Ch.Haden P.Mautian’s essence. Some of the arrangements found on The Mourning Of Star are surprisingly edgy. I hope to keep hearing K.Jarrett and Ch.Haden P.Mautian works for a long time to come. Trust is another favourite of mine. Interlude No.1 I just LOVE this mix!
