Since completing 1974’s ‘Autobahn’, Kraftwerk fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On Autobahn album, Kraftwerk have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Autobahn and Kometenmelodie 1. If you want to hear real Electronic, get this record now!
It took me a little time but I ended up loving Kometenmelodie 1. Musically Kometenmelodie 2 is superior to other tracks in Autobahn. Listening to Mitternacht you can hear that Kraftwerk has still amazing chemistry with band members. Morgenspaziergang on Autobahn is solid and easy to listen to.
