This is one of the best Cd’s Les Paul and Mary Ford has dropped to date. Self-described as Country with lots of words, Les Paul and Mary Ford comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. nine years ago, Les Paul and Mary Ford briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Bye Bye Blues”. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Carioca - I like this one. All of songs on Les Paul and Mary Ford and have something to say letting alone Farewell (For Just Awhile). I can’t stop humming along Goofus. How High The Moon is exquisite song though, very addictive. Music and lyrics of I Am My Love’s creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I’m A Fool To Care is one of the best records ever. I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles (2:55) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I’m Sitting On The Top Of The World catches attention immediately, Les Paul and Mary Ford couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Jealous. Johnny Is The Boy For Me is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Lonely Guitar is a great opener for Les Paul and Mary Ford. I love the melodic melody of Lover and to this day it makes me feel good. Magic Melody - I just love it. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I like the idea behind Mockin’ Bird Hill. Mr. Sandman as a highlight of Les Paul and Mary Ford contains a ton of excellent melodies. Nola is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. When listening to Prisoner Of Love, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Put A Ring On My Finger actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Les Paul and Mary Ford’s face. Sing To Me Gypsy (2:44) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Smoke Rings is a strong cut, one of many. St.louis Blues is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Les Paul and Mary Ford released so far. The song feels complete. I can’t stop playing Th Street Rag. That Old Feeling had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Les Paul and Mary Ford rocks harder than ever with The Best Things In Life Are Free. The Jazz Me Blues is probably the highlight of the album. In The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise Les Paul and Mary Ford spins a tale you want to hear to the end. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Les Paul and Mary Ford. This track is clearly meant to showcase Les Paul and Mary Ford’s vocal abilities. Vaya Con Dios is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Whispering is almost impossible to review.
