Sleepy Time Down South is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Live At The Newport Jazz Festival. (Back Home Again In) Indiana is probably the most interesting track on Live At The Newport Jazz Festival. My Bucket’s Got A Hole In It is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. A fantastic track full of wonder. I love the melodic melody of Now You Has Jazz and to this day it makes me feel good. Vocals of Louis Armstrong in High Society Calypso really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Ole Miss as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Girl Of My Dreams is amazing work of Louis Armstrong. Louis Armstrong rocks harder than ever with “C” Jam Blues. The opening track Blueberry Hill is very much like you would expect from other albums. One listen to the sheer beauty of Undecided was all I needed. I’m Beginnning To See The Light gives taste of what makes Louis Armstrong special as a musician. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I have all of Louis Armstrong’s tracks and Stompin’ At The Savoy is probably the most his introspective effort. St.Louis Blues is the first taste of the new album. Ko Ko Mo is a bit different from Louis Armstrong stereotypical stuff. After You’ve Gone; When The Saints Go Marchin’ In - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. The Star-Spangled Banner has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Happy Birthday, Louis! actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Louis Armstrong’s face.
