In On the Alamo the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Lover, Come Back to Me to me is the best you can get from Louis Armstrong. Louis Armstrong offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. I like Volare because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. So much energy, so exciting a sound.I Left My Heart in San Francisco is probably the highlight of the album. Bill Bailey, Won’t You Please Come Home is perfect. When the Saints Go Marching In is outstanding work of Louis Armstrong. Within the first few notes of Hello, Dolly! it’s perfectly clear that Louis Armstrong is living this song. Mack the Knife was the first single release from the album When The Saints Go Marching In (1968) - Singin’N'Playin’ (1959). Muskrat Ramble - This one is lively and fun. Blueberry Hill is beautiful, yet underrated track. That’s My Desire (5:34) - awsome. Ole Miss is exquisite and different song. When It’s Sleepy Time Down South is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. A Kiss to Build a Dream On is really the reason why I recommend buying When The Saints Go Marching In (1968) - Singin’N'Playin’ (1959). St. James Infirmary - Check out that bassline!
