On A Document Of Early Acoustical and Tactical Experimentation album, Lustmord have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Lustmord’s new album to that on ‘A Document Of Early Acoustical and Tactical Experimentation’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since completing 1982’s ‘Of Bones Of Men’, Lustmord fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Simple and heartfelt closing track Boneing Of Men closes A Document Of Early Acoustical and Tactical Experimentation on a high note. In Words Of Voice Lustmord is at his best. Such hits like Amok (Live February, 1982) will leave you hooked. This song may be the most meaningful. Beast Of Burden, Beast Of Prey is perfect. Credo-Nemo is the most memorable and exquisite. Arise is a very catchy tune. Slab Stone - My least favorite song on this album. Murderwrecker is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Sibling is nothing but pure genius. Some call A.T.M.O.M. from A Document Of Early Acoustical and Tactical Experimentation as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Music of Headplate is gentle, never overbearing.
