Self-described as Jazz: Fusion with lots of words, Mahavishnu Orchestra comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Mahavishnu Orchestra’s debut, ‘Inner Worlds’, does not fit easily into one genre. On the Canada charts, superstar Mahavishnu Orchestra’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Unappreciated gift to Jazz: Fusion
One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Miles Out. I listened to the opening track In My Life and liked it a lot. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Music and lyrics of Morning Calls creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I can’t stop playing The Way Of The Pilgrim. Some of the arrangements found on Inner Worlds are surprisingly edgy. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Lotus Feet marked the continuation of Mahavishnu Orchestra in style evolution. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Inner Worlds.
