This is the first studio album from Meco since bad diagnosis in 1977. It’s natural for Meco to take a stab at ‘Star Wars’ considering her long-professed love for EMF. Now signed to Meco’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Star Wars And Other Galactic Funk” leads Meco’s back-to-school campaign. Exciting stuff.
Other Galactic Funk is simple, dignified and effective, Meco refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Star Wars Theme - Cantine Band (7′ Edit) is a very catchy tune. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Star Wars Theme - Cantine Band (12′ Edit) from the beginning to the end.
