six years ago, Michel Sardou briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Les moutons”. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Michel Sardou has. It’s natural for Michel Sardou to take a stab at ‘Les ricains’ considering her long-professed love for 2 Unlimited. Integrale (1967) is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Les moutons is a good listen every once in a while. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I’ve found myself listening to Le train de la dernire chance back to back and back many times. A unique and uplifting song. Cent mille universits is perfect. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Integrale (1967) is Petit. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. First time I heard Les ricains (avec intro) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Petit (autre version) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Michel Sardou ever produced.
