It has been three years Mick Taylor’ last studio CD, “Mick Taylor” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. On Mick Taylor album, Mick Taylor have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Leather Jacket and Alabama. This album is a scorcher!
I hope to keep hearing Mick Taylor works for a long time to come. Slow Blues - A classic Mick Taylor track. Baby I Want You - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Broken Hands (3:57) a good melody. Giddy-Up is the albums biggest surprise. It’s a great pleasure to listen to S.W. 5 from the beginning to the end. Spanish - arguably the best track on Mick Taylor album. In A Minor Mick Taylor is at his best.
