It has been two years Miles Davis’ last studio CD, “We Want Miles” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Since Miles Davis last CD (We Want Miles) on Blue Note Records back in 1981, I have felt a massive void in my life. Self-described as Jazz: Funk with lots of words, Miles Davis comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. To me Miles Davis is the best band ever.
Back Seat Betty is one of the more up-tempo songs on We Want Miles. Fast Track is one of my favorite songs by Miles Davis. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in We Want Miles. My Man’s Gone Now is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy.
