‘Ain’t But A Few Of Us Left’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. John Digester has compared writing for Milt Jackson’s new album to that on ‘Ain’t But A Few Of Us Left’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Milt Jackson on ‘Ain’t But A Few Of Us Left’. Ain’t But A Few Of Us Left is not something you should pass up.
In Stuffy the music gets its power. This is one hell of a track. Milt Jackson breathes new life into the music in Body and Soul. If I Should Lose You - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. After about the third What Am I Here For listen through, I began to believe this song is Milt Jackson’s essence.
