Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Milt Jackson comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. On the Canada charts, superstar Milt Jackson’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This album is a scorcher!
It Happeheii In Mohterey is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. My One and Only Love is perfect and different song. Tricrotism is probably the highlight of the album. Thumbstrihg is absolutely incredible. Only one song from Ray Brown-Milt Jackson - Much In Common (CD 1) named Cannon Bilt really got me. Two For The Blues is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Milt Jackson ever produced. Day In, Day Out is outstanding work of Milt Jackson. Baubles, Bahgles, and Beads defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. I can’t stop humming along Work Song (alt). Work Song (alt) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Canhoh Bilt (alt) (3:32) a good melody. Lined With A Groove is nothing but pure genius. Voice and instruments in For Someohe I Love complement each other. Dew and Mud is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. I Just Can’t Fool Myself - I like this one.
