Since Muddy Waters last CD (Rare and Unissued) on Capitol Records back in 1984, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is no doubt that Muddy Waters has talent. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Muddy Waters’s album Rare and Unissued falls to No. 2 with 681,000, a sales slide of 77%. Enjoy the show.
Mean Disposition is gorgeous song though, very addictive. Feel Like Going Home is probably one of Muddy Waters’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. I can’t stop humming along You’re Gonna Miss Me. Srand There Trembling great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.|titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Muddy Waters emotions are reflected through Where’s My Woman Been. Gal You Gotta Watch have really caught my ear and imagination. Music in Lonesome Day is astounding as in all tracks of Rare and Unissued. Iodine In My Coffee is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. I can’t stop playing Smokestack Lightning. Let Me Hang Around is another strong production from Muddy Waters. Born Lover - This one is lively and fun. Deep Down In My Heart sets the tone for the entire album.
