After seeing The Emperor Of Wyoming, I had to have a good Neil Young cd. I Love Neil Young from start to finish!
The Loner as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. If I Could Have Her Tonight - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. I was truly moved when I heard I’ve Been Waiting For You. The Old Laughing Lady - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. String Quartet From Whiskey Boot Hill to me is the best you can get from Neil Young. Here We Are In The Years stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. What Did You Do To My Life great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I’ve Loved Her So Long is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. The Last Trip To Tulsa is a gorgeous, simple song by Neil Young at the top of his game.
