After debuting at No. 1 last week, Nick Drake’s album Pink Moon falls to No. 2 with 937,000, a sales slide of 59%. I am not a real Rock: Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Pink Moon’ really is amazing. Lead single “Pink Moon” and “Place To Be” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Pink Moon and Place To Be is really good.
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Place To Be. A great put together song. The sound of Which Will is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Music and lyrics of Horn creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Things Behind The Sun is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Know gives good insight into the truths. Parasite as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Nick Drake sings his heart out in Ride. Harvest Breed is beautiful, yet underrated track. From The Morning is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood.
