This is one of the best Cd’s Nomadi has dropped to date. six years ago, Nomadi briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “atomica”. After seeing canzone per un’amica, I had to have a good Nomadi cd. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Nomadi ever.
atomica is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Album opener noi non ci saremo is a bright, upbeat ditty. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Although primavera di Praga is very melodic it is far from sad. Music and lyrics of dio e morto creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Auschwitz - Check out that bassline! Some call noi from Francesco Guccini E I Nomadi as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Music in statale 17 is exquisite as in all tracks of Francesco Guccini E I Nomadi.
