Since completing 1977’s ‘Riverisco’, Nomadi fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is the first studio album from Nomadi since bad diagnosis in 1977. This is what good folk: latin should be.
La Citta is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This song may be the most meaningful. The sound in Il Fiore Nero is really warm and Nomadi’s signature voice is still very much present. Balla Piero is probably one of Nomadi’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. I have all of Nomadi’s tracks and La Storia is probably the most his introspective effort. Riverisco is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. I Miei Anni is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Il Paese is the funkiest number on the album. La Voglia Di Posare is the albums biggest surprise. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. You can find feelings on this piece of art.
