There is so much to love about Oscar Peterson Trio, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Lead single “Angel Eyes” and “Blue Moon” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Oscar Peterson Trio’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Pastel Moods” leads Oscar Peterson Trio’s back-to-school campaign. This is my first Oscar Peterson Trio Album and i must say i am blown away.
Blue Moon is astounding and different song. East Of The Sun (West Of The Moon) sets the tone for the entire album. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. I Don’t Stand A Ghost Of A Chance With You is outstanding work of Oscar Peterson Trio. Moonglow marked the continuation of Oscar Peterson Trio in style evolution. There is astounding mix of music in My Old Flame. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Sweet Lorraine was the first single release from the album Pastel Moods. There’s A Small Hotel is a striking and quite long song. These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. They Can’t Take That Away From Me has a fun tempo. Unforgettable good vocals. You Go To My Head - A nice song. I came to like You Turned The Tables On Me.
