It has been eight years Oscar Peterson Trio’ last studio CD, “The Good Life” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is one of the best Cd’s Oscar Peterson Trio has dropped to date. I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Good Life’ really is amazing. This album is awesome.
Some of the arrangements found on The Good Life are surprisingly edgy. Oscar Peterson Trio sings The Good Life in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Wave - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Wheatland is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
