There is no doubt that Oscar Peterson With Joe Pass and Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen has talent. This album has some very good songs like BLUES ETUDE and CHICAGO BLUES. ‘The Trio’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This album is awesome.
CHICAGO BLUES has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Oscar Peterson With Joe Pass and Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen’s strong vocals come to the fore. EASY LISTENING BLUES is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Voice and instruments in COME SUNDAY complement each other. SECRET LOVE - another great track from the The Trio album.
