There is so much to love about Paco De Lucia, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Paco De Lucia has. Self-described as Latin: Flamenco with lots of words, Paco De Lucia comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. 12 Hits Para 2 Guitarras Flamencas touched my soul like nothing else.
Tango De La Rosa is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Paco De Lucia released so far. Si No Me More is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. El Amor De Laura on 12 Hits Para 2 Guitarras Flamencas is solid and easy to listen to. A unique and uplifting song. Celos - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. When listening to Que Sera Sera, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Yo Que No Vivo Sin Ti is another strong production from Paco De Lucia. Reserva El Ultimo Baile Para Mi is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. The song feels complete. 12 Hits Para 2 Guitarras Flamencas couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Perfida.
