Since Paco De Lucia last CD (Castro Marin) on Capitol Records back in 1981, I have felt a massive void in my life. IF YOU LIKE ALL Paco De Lucia’S SONG GO FOR IT! Ivan Grach has compared writing for Paco De Lucia’s new album to that on ‘Castro Marin’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Castro Marin is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Gitanos Andaluces as a highlight of Castro Marin contains a ton of amazing melodies. Castro Marin is the song that really did it for me. Herencia is a good listen every once in a while. Convite is a song to enjoy for years to come. Palenque is the funkiest number on the album. Huida is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade.
