Lead single “Inesperdistan” and “Abalii” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since completing 1980’s ‘Inesperdistan’, Pascal Languirand fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After seeing Inesperdistan, I had to have a good Pascal Languirand cd. De Harmonia Universalia is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Abalii is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. In Atlantis the music gets its power. It’s a great pleasure to listen to O Nos Omnes from the beginning to the end. Nova - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Pascal Languirand.
