A unique and uplifting song. Take Ten is the funkiest number on the album. When listening to Embarcadero, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. If you are a Paul Desmond fan, you will love The Theme From Black Orpheus. After about the third Nancy listen through, I began to believe this song is Paul Desmond’s essence. Within the first few notes of Samba De Orpheu it’s perfectly clear that Paul Desmond is living this song. The One I Love Belongs To Somebody Else is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Embarcadero (Alternate Take) is a great opener for Take Ten. Music in El Prince (Alternate Take) is gorgeous as in all tracks of Take Ten.
