This fifteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Paul Mauriat has. There is so much to love about Paul Mauriat, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Now signed to Paul Mauriat’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Le Passager De La Pluie” leads Paul Mauriat’s back-to-school campaign. To me Paul Mauriat is the best band ever.
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think C’est La Vie, Lily is my favorite song on Le Passager De La Pluie. Let It Be is beautiful, yet underrated track. A unique and uplifting song. Laisse Entrer La Pluie Rain is gorgeous and different song. Overall a nice softer song. Silver Fingertips is astounding work of Paul Mauriat. If you are a Paul Mauriat fan, you will love Bridge Over Troubled Water. I hope to keep hearing Paul Mauriat works for a long time to come. Paul Mauriat is hitting on all cylinders in Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head. Que Je T’aime is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Album opener Julietta is a bright, upbeat ditty. This song stands out greatly from the others. Put Paris S’allume into car stereo for your highway driving
