Hearts and Bones isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since completing 1983’s ‘Allergies’, Paul Simon fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Paul Simon has. Unappreciated gift to Folk
Hearts and Bones on Hearts and Bones is solid and easy to listen to. When Numbers Get Serious is one of the more up-tempo songs on Hearts and Bones. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Song About The Moon is a perfect, simple song by Paul Simon at the top of his game. Think Too Much (a) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Train In The Distance - Check out that bassline! Music of Rene and Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After The War is gentle, never overbearing. In Cars Are Cars the music gets its power. The Late Great Johnny Ace - A strong beat.
