There were many famous songs of Paul Winter available. six years ago, Paul Winter briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Kyrie”. Self-described as New Age with lots of words, Paul Winter comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Kyrie
Kyrie - arguably the best track on Missa Gaia Earth Mass album. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Strong, powerful vocals of Paul Winter in Mystery are very impressive. Return To Gaia is simple, dignified and effective, Paul Winter refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. For The Beauty Of The Earth is simply excellent. Adoro Te Devote is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. For The Beauty Of The Earth actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Paul Winter’s face. Sanctus And Benedictus is nothing but pure genius. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Paul Winter. In Sun Psalm Paul Winter is at his best. You have to get essence of the The Promise Of A Fisherman’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Missa Gaia Earth Mass is The Blue Green Hills Of Earth. I listened to the opening track Agnus Dei and liked it a lot. Let Us Go Forth In Peace is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion.
