I am not a real Instrumental music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Music from the Penguin Cafe’ really is amazing. IF YOU LIKE ALL Penguin Cafe Orchestra’S SONG GO FOR IT! After seeing Penguin Cafe Single, I had to have a good Penguin Cafe Orchestra cd. Great Instrumental right here!
Zopf: From the Colonies (for N.R.) is probably one of Penguin Cafe Orchestra’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Zopf: In a Sydney Motel is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Zopf: Surface Tension (where the trees meet the sky) have really caught my ear and imagination. Zopf: Milk (2:22) - awsome. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Overall a nice softer song. I like the idea behind Zopf: Pigtail. In The sound of someone you love who’s going away and it doesn’t ma the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Penguin Cafe Orchestra offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing.
