John Digester has compared writing for Philip Glass’s new album to that on ‘North Star’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s natural for Philip Glass to take a stab at ‘Etoile Polaire (North Star)’ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Philip Glass has. Overall, I would highly recommend North Star CD.
Victor’s Lament is a excellent sing-along. River Run is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Mon Pere, Mon Pere I just LOVE this mix! Nice and different song. Lady Day is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Ave is astounding. Ik - Ook pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Best song on the album, love it.
