On Condition Critical album, Quiet Riot have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. For older fans Condition Critical will put a massive smile accross your face. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Quiet Riot. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Mama Weer All Crazee Now makes a person feel excellent. I find myself hearing bits of Party All Night here and there throughout my waking hours. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Winners Take All make listening to Quiet Riot like being in some sort of time warp. After you’ve listened to Condition Critical, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. The first time I listened to Red Alert I was struck by its astounding sound. Bad Boy is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. (We Were) Born To Rock is the most memorable and astounding.
