Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Ralph Lundsten’s new album to that on ‘Midnight Hour and Other Works’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Self-described as Ambient with lots of words, Ralph Lundsten comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Ralph Lundsten. Smart music for smart people.
The Midnight Hour - The Dance Of The Headless Women is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Midnight Hour and Other Works. The Midnight Hour - Revenant Night is astounding song though, very addictive. The Midnight Hour - Seance - A strong beat. This song may be the most meaningful. Nice and different song. Ode To A Lost Soul is the most memorable and exquisite. On Tottering Toes - Stage Dreams is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Music of On Tottering Toes - Hold The Bar is gentle, never overbearing. Such hits like On Tottering Toes - Pas De Plash will leave you hooked. Although On Tottering Toes - Perpetuum Repeteum is very melodic it is far from sad. A fantastic track full of wonder. On Tottering Toes - La Grande Premiere - I just love it. Feel It - Feel - arguably the best track on Midnight Hour and Other Works album. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Ralph Lundsten.
