There is no doubt that Raul Seixas has talent. Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Raul Seixas comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “Abre-Te Sesamo” and “Aluga-Se” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. To me Raul Seixas is the best band ever.
Aluga-Se is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Raul Seixas sings Anos 80 in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. A great put together song. Conversa Pra Boi Dormir good vocals. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Minha Viola. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Abre-Te Sesamo. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. The song So Pra Variar ending is my favorite… so catchy! Baby great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.E Meu Pai (3:48) a good melody. A Beira Do Pantanal is new, fresh, and hypnotizing.
