Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Raul Seixas on ‘Rock Do Diabo’. I am not a real Latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Colecao Eldorado: Raul Vivo’ really is amazing. This is the first studio album from Raul Seixas since bad diagnosis in 1983. Overall, I would highly recommend Colecao Eldorado: Raul Vivo CD.
So Glad You’re Mine is another favourite of mine. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans? is a medium tempo tune. One listen to the sheer beauty of Barefoot Ballad was all I needed. Blue Moon/Asa Branca defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Roll Over Beethoven is almost impossible to review. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Be Bop a Lula is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Raul Seixas emotions are reflected through Rock das Aranha. When I listen to Maluco Beleza in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. I’ve found myself listening to Sociedade Alternativa back to back and back many times. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Metamorfose Ambulante is a very catchy tune. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. I like to sing along with Medley: Gita/Ouro de Tolo/Eu Nasci Hez Mil Anos Atr, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes.
