Lead single “Tapanacara” and “Maluco Beleza” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. While no new Raul Seixas album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1978 tour in Asia. ‘O Dia Em Que a Terra Parou’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. O Dia Em Que a Terra Parou is the best essence of Raul Seixas.
You can find feelings on this piece of art. I listened to the opening track Dia Em Que a Terra Parou and liked it a lot. I like to sing along with No Fundo Do Quintal Da Escola, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Eu Quero Mesmo sets the tone for the entire album. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Voce is one of the coolest songs Raul Seixas has ever recorded. I believe Sim is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. Que Luz E Essa is a good listen every once in a while. Pra-Baixo make listening to Raul Seixas like being in some sort of time warp.
