On Raul Seixas album, Raul Seixas have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lead single “DDI” and “Coisas Do Cora o” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Raul Seixas’s debut, ‘Raul Seixas’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Coisas Do Cora o
Simple and heartfelt closing track Coisas Do Cora o closes Raul Seixas on a high note. A fantastic track full of wonder. Nao Fosse O Cabral is marvelous work of Raul Seixas. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Quero Mais. I loved Lua Cheia the first time I heard it. Don’t judge Carimbador Maluco on the first listening. Segredo Da Luz can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Raul Seixas is all about. I’ve found myself listening to Aquela Coisa back to back and back many times. Raul Seixas has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. So much energy, so exciting a sound.|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot.
