This is the first studio album from RED ALERT since bad diagnosis in 1983. After seeing We’ve Got The Power, I had to have a good RED ALERT cd. It’s natural for RED ALERT to take a stab at ‘We’ve Got The Power’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. We’ve Got The Power touched my soul like nothing else.
After about the third Crisis listen through, I began to believe this song is RED ALERT’s essence. Weekend Warfare is marvelous and different song. They Came In Force hits the heart. This is one hell of a track. Some call Third And Final from We’ve Got The Power as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. You`ve Got Nothing is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Simple and heartfelt closing track S.P.G. closes We’ve Got The Power on a high note. Foreign Affairs is simple, dignified and effective, RED ALERT refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. In Campaign the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. The Art Of Brutality still maintains something of a specific flourish. Put Smash Your Chains into car stereo for your highway driving Industrial Slide is another strong production from RED ALERT. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is It`s Me Boys because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Britain sets the tone for the entire album. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. RED ALERT rocks harder than ever with Murder Missile. Take No Prisoners (2:36) - awsome. A unique and uplifting song. Once you hear Sell Out, you will listen to it over and over. City Invasion one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Vocals of RED ALERT in Negative Reaction really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. There`s A Guitar Burning is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. RED ALERT has astounded me with this amazing track. This is probably my favorite song on the album. All The Way To Glory - Check out that bassline! The Revolution Will Come is the most memorable and perfect. RED ALERT offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.
