Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Richard Thompson on ‘Hokey Pokey’. While no new Richard Thompson album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1974 tour in Europe. Hokey Pokey vs. Linda Thompson is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. You can find feelings on this piece of art. In Never Again the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Georgie on a Spree is pretty funky and mellow. After you’ve listened to Old Man Inside a Young Man, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Sun Never Shines on the Poor can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Richard Thompson is all about. Heart Needs a Home is a strong cut, one of many. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
