eleven years ago, Rick James and Stone City Band briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “High On Your Love Suite / One Mo Hit (Of Your Love)”. This is the first studio album from Rick James and Stone City Band since bad diagnosis in 1979. There were many famous songs of Rick James and Stone City Band available. If I may, I suggest “Bustin’ Out”. That one song is amazing!
High On Your Love Suite / One Mo Hit (Of Your Love) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Love Interlude is worth the money. Spacey Love has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. When listening to Cop ‘N’ Blow, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Fool On The Street - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
