This is one of the best Cd’s Rick Wakeman has dropped to date. Since Rick Wakeman last CD (Piano Vibrations) on Columbia Records back in 1971, I have felt a massive void in my life. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Rick Wakeman energies, virtually a rebirth. Enjoy the show.
I like Yellow Man because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Cast Your Fate To The Wind one is one of the better boring ones. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Your Song is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Delta Lady is astounding. When I listen to A Picture Of You in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Home Sweet Oklahoma defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Rick Wakeman emotions are reflected through Fire and Rain. Classical Gas - For me, this is the best of the album.
