Now signed to Rick Wakeman’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Treasure Box Cd1 The Real Lisztomania” leads Rick Wakeman’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Rick Wakeman energies, virtually a rebirth. Rick Wakeman’s debut, ‘Treasure Box Cd1 The Real Lisztomania’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album is in perfect progression from Rick Wakeman!
The Metronome gives taste of what makes Rick Wakeman special as a musician. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Free Song is really a nice song to relax and listen too. It’s such an underrated song. Dante Period rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Orpheus Song which is my favorite is a truly Rick Wakeman sounding song. For The Chop - This is a very lively song. I’ve found myself listening to Hell back to back and back many times. Wagner’s Dream - A catchy, upbeat tune. The Dream Of Hell - For me, this is the best of the album. Song The Inferno Ride is actually a funny song. Master Race is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. The Ride Of Thor pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Excelsior Song is the album’s biggest hit, I think. The Guardian Virgins stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Rape, Pillage And Clap is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. In Love’s Dream it becomes nowhere more obvious that Rick Wakeman has yet to define own style. The Suffering to me is the best you can get from Rick Wakeman. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Best song on the album, love it.
